レッスンで大切にしていること

I value understanding each student's individual goals, level, learning style, and interests. Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced learner, I want to create lessons that are supportive, engaging, and suited to your needs.

I enjoy helping students develop their English skills across speaking and conversation, grammar, listening, reading, and comprehension, as well as preparing for exams such as Eiken, TOEIC, TOEIC Bridge, TOEFL, and the English section of Japanese university entrance exams.

I value patience, clear explanations, encouragement, and celebrating progress, while helping you to become a more confident and independent English learner.

教えられる言語とレベル

Teaching language: English

English levels: Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, and Advanced

I can support learners across a wide range of English abilities, from students who are just beginning their English-learning journey to advanced learners looking to refine their skills. I can adjust my explanations, lesson pace, vocabulary, and activities according to each student's level and learning goals.

レッスンの雰囲気

My lessons are warm, relaxed, and encouraging, while still being focused and purposeful. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and trying new things without feeling embarrassed or pressured. I adapt my pace and teaching style to each student, creating an atmosphere where learning feels enjoyable, supportive, and rewarding.

I especially enjoy lessons where I can get to know a student's goals and interests and tailor the lesson around them.

I love helping students who are working toward a specific goal, whether that is improving their grammar, building confidence in conversation, strengthening reading or listening comprehension, or preparing for an English exam.

I also enjoy working with students who want to challenge themselves and see their progress over time. My favorite lessons are ones where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and discovering that they can do more in English than they thought they could.

これまでの経験

I have over 4 years of English teaching experience in Japan, teaching children, teenagers, university students, working professionals, couples, and adults from beginner to advanced levels. I have experience teaching ESL/EFL, English conversation, grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading, comprehension, and test preparation.

I have helped students successfully prepare for and pass English examinations, including Eiken and Japanese university entrance exams. In particular, I have helped three students pass Eiken Grade 1, including a third-year high school student, a first-year high school student, and a second-year junior high school student. I supported students with both the written examination and interview.

I have also helped two Japanese third-year high school students successfully prepare for and pass the English section of their Japanese university entrance examinations.

Beyond academic English, I have helped working professionals improve their business English for presentations, workplace communication, and overseas business travel. I have also helped couples develop practical English skills for traveling to English-speaking countries, including communication they would need while traveling.

I hold a 120-hour TESOL certification and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. I enjoy adapting my teaching approach to each student's level, learning style, interests, and goals, and helping students make measurable progress in English.
